Abstract
This article is intended to show the main purpose and objectives of the educational activities of the Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, also the main directions of higher education training carried out by the Institute for High Qualification Medical Staff Training and Professional Education. There are presented the results of the admission campaign for 2022 (there were enrolled 124 students in a clinical residency and 22 in postgraduate studies), dynamics of the number of clinical residents and postgraduate students, the analysis of the distribution of students in selected specialties. The article reflects innovations and achievements in the educational process for 2022, and also pays special attention to the Solemn Ceremony of dedication of students to residents held after the admission campaign had been over.
