Abstract
Today, according to domestic and foreign clinical guidelines, the "gold" standard in the treatment of patients with diagnosed coronary artery disease is the operation of coronary bypass grafting (rubricator of the Ministry of Healthcare of Russian Federation). Against the backdrop of technological and scientific progress in conservative therapy, as well as the emergence of modern endovascular methods of treatment, surgical myocardial revascularization has been the method of choice for more than fifty years in patients with the most severe and widespread (multi-vessel) lesions of the epicardial bed of the coronary artery (EACTS AHA).
We present a clinical case of successful total arterial revascularization with simultaneous radiofrequency ablation of the pulmonary vein ostia in a patient with multivessel disease and persistent atrial fibrillation using a T-shaped lower ministernotomy approach.
