Abstract
The article presents the results of Burakovskiy Institute of cardiac surgery in Bakoulev NMICCVS work in 2023. The structure of Institute includes department of the Scientific Advisory board (7 deputy directors, general clinical staff), scientific advisory department, department of Anesthesiology and Reaniamation, the operating room, paraclinical departments, 7 departments for children, 10 departments for adults. In 2023 was registered increased number for all types of surgical interventions. The largest number of operations with artificial blood circulation was performed for сongenital heart defect 42.67% and acquired heart diseases 42.57%. The largest number of endovascular operations was performed for rhythm disturbances – 39.6% and coronary artery disease – 33.2%, the largest number of operations without artificial blood was for replacement and implantation of pacemaker 40.5%. General surgical activity in 2023 increased by 18%. In 2023 12,448 patients were consulted on visiting teams. 3,527 teleconsultations were carried out, of which 2,581 were planned, 548 – for urgent indications and 394 emergency. 1,150 patients were called and 869 were hospitalized.
