Abstract
This article presents the results of the medical and scientific activities of the Department of Surgery in young children with congenital heart diseases of the A.N. Bakoulev National medical research center for cardiovascular surgery of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation for 2023 year (the chief of the department is Ph.D, M.D., professor Zelenikin M.M.). 552 patients hospitalized in 2023. 418 operations performed and 164 (39%) of them in cardiopulmonary bypass. Operative mortality was 0.24%. The scientific work was carried out in accordance with the following topic – «Development of modern approaches to the diagnosis and surgical repair of univentricular defects and conotruncal anomalies in young children to improve the tactics and technical aspects of biventricular and univentricular repair». The results of scientific work: 12 articles, 1 patent for utility model, 1 application for the invention, 1 methodological manual, 1 clinical guideline, 11 reports and a series of lectures in various scientific and educational forums.
