Abstract
The trial was performed in 5 polyclinics of Moscow. The absence of most specialists and facilities,
which are needed for full treatment of patients with atherosclerosis, was detected. Such
patients are attended by physicians and surgeons of general practice; in result the quality of
extent of medical aid is reduced.
Introduction of angiologists into polyclinics` staff is recommended.
