Abstract
Article is devoted to the brief description of the activity of the scientific-manufacturing department of medical biotechnology in the field of designing and clinical use of tissue valve prostheses and medical glues. In present work are given examples of successful solving of the basic and applied problems, resulted in enriching of domestic cardiac surgery with the new products based on the materials of biological origin. Quality of new products is competitive with the best foreign analogues.
