Abstract
Regression of life quality (LQ) in a long-term period after mitral and aortic valve (MV and AV)
replacement in infancy and adolescence is usually determined by physical causes. The relationship
between life-quality and diameter of prosthetic orifice, and mean diastolic gradient on prosthesis
were revealed in patients after mitral valve replacement. Life quality was significantly lower
in patients with a small size of prosthesis after mitral valve replacement.
