Abstract
Retrograde pulmonary perfusion (RPP) was proposed to improve efficiency of pulmonary
embolectomy. However application of this technique requires aortic cross-clamping and cardioplegia
the risk of which is very high. The paper presents a new successfully used in the clinic perfusion
technology for pulmonary embolectomy and RPP under normothermic cardiopulmonary
bypass and «beating heart» in combination with aortic cross-clamping and continuous coronary
perfusion.
