Abstract
The article reports the first case of successful radical correction of the ventricular septal defect combined with
the pulmonary artery stenosis in the condition of the absence of the intrapericardial left pulmonary artery.
The echocardiography and angiocardiography have diagnosed in a three months old baby the congenital absence
of left pulmonary artery, ventricular septal defect, subvalve pulmonary artery stenosis and right-sided aortic arch.
Multispiral computed tomography has confirmed the diagnosis and identified the adequately developed left hilar
pulmonary artery the presence of which allowed performing its direct communication to the pulmonary trunk.
