Abstract
The level of infectious complications after the reimplantation of the aortic valve (AV) is extremely low.
Nevertheless, surgical mortality for this pathology can rich 30%. In this article we present a successful case
of surgical treatment of acute infectious endocarditis of the aortic valve after reimplantation surgery in
patient with ascending aortic root aneurysm and aortic valve insufficiency.
