Abstract
Systemic ventricular outflow tract obstruction is one of the factors that greatly affect of success of univentricular
heart surgery. In patients with anatomic reasons of systemic ventricular outflow tract obstruction it
can develop and progress gradually acquiring most pronounced after the Fontan operation. We present a case
report of the successful management of systemic ventricular outflow tract obstruction in patients with double
inlet left ventricle and ventriculo-arterial discordance 4 years after the Fontan operation.
