Abstract
General malformations often associated with congenital heart disease. One of these malformations is a
diaphragmatic hernia. In 23% of infants with diaphragmatic hernia identified a variety of congenital heart
disease (atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, tetralogy of Fallot, coarctation of aorta, ectopia of the
heart). More than half of these children are born prematurely. In most cases correction of heart disease and
plastic diaphragm performed simultaneously via median sternotomy. With a false hernia diaphragm to per
form staged surgical treatment. The article presents a case of surgical correction of a rare malformation: atri
al septal defect, combined with a right-sided false congenital diaphragmatic hernia.
