Abstract
The article presents the direct changes in the last 10 years have occurred in connection with the complete modern technical re-equipment of the department, which allowed to improve the quality and revise the structure of the research. Isolated and discussed in detail priorities for the department for a comprehensive assessment of the pathology of the cardiovascular system. Optimization algorithm of diagnosis procedures has reduced the number of classic X-ray studies in resuscitation department. In recent years, the department an opportunity to use a mobile CT scanner for examination of children with congenital heart disease in resuscitation department. Based on the experience of surveys of patients have developed protocols examination of the heart and blood vessels of children, of patients with cardiac arrhythmias or valvular disease. The introduction and widespread use of new technology has allowed to optimize the diagnostic algorithms in coronary lesions and examination of patients in resuscitation department.
The authors noted a particular interest of practitioners and researchers of the A.N. Bakoulev Center for Cardiovascular Surgery for the use of the new MR-4D Flow program for the evaluation of a blood flow in patients with various diseases of the heart and blood vessels. The program allows «of-line» comprehensive study blood flow in vivo, and to calculate various indicators of blood flow to the interest levels to produce color high-speed mapping directions and flow distribution of vectors of blood flow in areas of interest of the vascular bed, which will be particularly important in patients with hard-to echocardiographic imaging and/or in patients with complicated anatomy and position of the heart.
In conclusion summing up a decade of work, the results of which have allowed to define the strategic direction for the future development of the department, which are based on the practical development of new imaging technologies and the search for rational diagnostic algorithms in various clinical situations, as well as the dissemination of new knowledge among practitioners of different specialties involved in the life of a
patient at different stages of treatment.
