Abstract
According to the world literature, the detection of isolated pathology of tricuspid valve (TV) in children and adults is from 0.8–1.2% of all coronary heart defects (CHD) (anomaly of Ebstein and congenital dysplasia of TV), while the pathology of TV is approximately 67–72% of cases accompanied by other CHD (ventricular septal defects, double discharge of blood vessels, tetralogy of Fallot, etc.). Since TV pathology is most often combined with other CHD, lifetime in this group does not exceed 5–10 years; however, most patients die without correction after 2–4 years. Unjustified expansion and excess of indications for valve-safe operations is accompanied by a significant increase in the number of reoperation on the TV. Recurrence of TV dysfunction, after plastic correction (which is in some groups from 20 to 85% of cases) and structural valve deterioration, dictate to effectuate prosthetics TV with artificial prosthesis. Preferably, we`re using biological valves. To date, insufficient attention is paid to during of the functioning of the implanted valves and the quality of life in the long term outcomes, which determines the relevance of the present study.
