Abstract
Scimitar syndrome is a rare congenital malformation with incidence of 1–3 cases per 100000 newborns and is 6% of all partial anomalous pulmonary venous returns. There are a few cases in publications of surgical treatment in patients during the first year of life with this disease combined with lung pathology. In this report the surgical technique of successful two-stage treatment of partial anomalous pulmonary venous return in inferior caval vein and its tactical reason are described that combined with extralobar inferior lobe sequestration of horseshoe lung in 3 month-old patient.
