Abstract
The purpose: is to study analysis of results of the correspondence consultations of patients with cardiovascular pathology.
Material and methods. Appeals received within one year – 5875 letters from 4392 patients, have been analyzed.
Results. No indications for surgical treatment have been revealed in 5.6% of patients, contraindications due to severe concomitant pathology – in 0.7% of patients. Calls for consultation or hospitalization were sent to 2868 (65.3%) patients. 2009 (70.0%) patients have been consulted at doctor's appointment, of which 798 have been operated.
Conclusion. Due to the high incidence rate organization of consultations for patients with cardiovascular
pathology is an extremely urgent task. Correspondence consultations allow to organize work with patients,
especially from remote regions, optimally
