Abstract
In the Laboratory of Intraoperative Diagnosis and Treatment of Arrhythmias 3417 procedures for 2106 patients were performed in the 2019: 1437 diagnostic and 1981 treatment procedures (1778 operations and 203 medical procedures – implantation of a temporary electrode, electrical cardioversion, etc.). Compared to the previous year, there were noted an increase in the number of radiofrequency ablation procedures and a decrease in the number of implant implantations. As before, there were registered a large number of children with ventricular pre-excitation syndrome (Wolf–Parkinson–White). The number of patients in this age group is growing annually. Based on the materials of the scientific and practical work, in 2019 11 articles were published, 5 reports were made at all-Russian congresses, 18 lectures were given at certification courses and within the framework of the XXI AllRussian School-the Seminar “Clinical Electrophysiology, Interventional and Surgical Arrhythmology”. In 2019, the comprehensive topic “Study of the mechanisms of atrial fibrillation, the definition of rational treatment tactics for various forms and methods of preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative assessment of the functioning of the atria and the electrophysiological characteristics of the myocardium” was completed and work continued on the comprehensive topic “Modern methods of diagnosis, prevention and interventional treatment of atrial tachycardia after catheter and surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation”.
