Abstract
The paper is dedicated to analysis of the results of activity of the Department of Emergency Surgery of Congenital Heart Diseases with Circulatory Support Group in 2018 year. The main statistical indicators of the medical work of the department are given, as well as identified the main directions of scientific activity. As part of practice in 2018 year 421 patients between the ages of 6 months to 12 years with a body weight of 5.2 to 55.0 kg were underwent 441 operations in the department. Most of the interventions were made in the open heart – 286 operations with cardiopulmonary bypass with a low mortality rate – 1.4%. Evaluation of the results of operations with cardiopulmonary bypass performed according to the Aristotle scale and showed that a greater number of interventions belonged to high levels of difficulty (III–V) – 216 operations, which accounted to 75.5% of all operations with cardiopulmonary bypass. Scientific activity of the department was carried out in the framework of comprehensive and individual tasks, approved by the Academic Council of the Center. The results of scientific research for 2018 were published in the form of 8 articles in central Russian journals and foreign journals and presented at various Russian and international scientific forums.
