Abstract
The article presents the main achievements of the work of the Department of Emergency Surgery of Acquired Heart Defects in a practical and scientific plan for 2019. Reflected by years dynamics of number of patients treated, operations with artificial blood circulation and mortality, but also reflects the dynamics of the quantity of scientific production produced by the Department for the last three years. In conclusion, the article outlines promising research directions, which are to be developed in the future.
