Abstract
This article presents the results of the medical and scientific activities of the Department of Surgery in Young Children with Congenital Heart Diseases (under 3 years) of the Bakoulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery for 2019 year. 667 patients hospitalized in 2019, 426 operations performed and 240 (56.3%) of them in cardiopulmonary bypass. Hospital mortality was 0.9%. The scientific work was carried out with two topics «Surgical and parasurgical risk factors of congenital heart disease correction in young children». The results of scientific work in 2019: 15 articles, 1 monograph, 6 clinical guidelines, 18 reports and 6 lectures in various scientific forums, 2 patent for invention.
