Abstract
During the reporting period from 2016 to 2020, in the Department of X-ray Surgical Intraoperative Diagnostics and Treatment of Arrhythmias performed 12 797 procedures for patients who performed 6833 operations and 663 medical procedures (implantation of a temporary electrode, electric pulse therapy, etc.). 4911 radiofrequency ablation and 1922 implantations of antiarrhythmic devices were performed, of which 1631 were implantations of pacemakers and 291 of cardioverter-defibrillator. The total number of complications was 147 cases (2.2% of the total number of operations). There was no lethality.
Based on the materials of the scientific and practical work carried out for the period from 2016 to 2020, 36 articles were published, 19 reports were made at all-Russian congresses, 84 lectures were read. The department staff, together with the leading specialists of the Russian Federation in the field of treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, take part in the development of standards for the treatment of patients with ventricular and supraventricular tachycardia, bradyarrhythmias and atrial fibrillation. In the period from 2016 to 2020, 2 complex topics were completed: “Modern methods of diagnosis, prevention and interventional treatment of atrial tachycardia after catheter and surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation”, “Study of the mechanisms of atrial fibrillation, determination of rational tactics of treatment of various forms and methods of preoperative and postoperative assessment of atrial functioning and electrophysiological characteristics of the myocardium”.
Since 2012, the staff of the Department have defended 6 theses (2 doctoral, 4 candidate).
