Abstract
There was presented the report on medical and scientific work of the Department of surgical treatment of
ischemic heart disease (IHD) and minimally invasive coronary surgery for 2017 in the article. 651 patients
were treated on 15 beds, 316 operations were performed in IHD patients during the reporting period.
251 were operations off-pump without death. 43 operations were on pump with mortality 2.3% (1 patient).
Scientific work in the department is carried out in two main directions: surgical treatment of patients with
coronary artery disease with left ventricular aneurysm in conditions of working heart; minimally invasive
myocardial revascularization in high-risk patients.
