Abstract
Partial anomalous left pulmonary veins drainage is a rare congenital heart defect. Typically, such drainage is carried
out through a vertical vein in the upper vena cava. The left pulmonary veins are rarely directly connected to the coronary
sinus or to the right atrium. In this pathology, there is often a secondary atrial septal defect or complete defect
in the roof of coronary sinus. According to a number of authors, surgical treatment should be carried out in the early
stages of the disease in patients with dilation of the right departments with mild or moderate tricuspid regurgitation
or in the early stages of pulmonary hypervolemia to prevent pulmonary hypertension. This paper describes an
extremely rare case of complete repair of partial anomalous left pulmonary veins drainage into coronary sinus with
intact atrial septum.
