Abstract
The present article is the summary of the work, which was carried out by the Department of intensive cardiology of
premature and infants of Bakoulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery in 2018 in two
areas – clinical and scientific. The clinical work has been traditionally represented by advisory and therapeutic activities.
The results of the clinical work are given in comparison with previous years; the flow of the hospitalized patients
was analyzed in relation to their territorial affiliation. The article contains a description of newborns consulted in
maternity hospitals of Moscow and the Moscow region, including those who were transferred and operated due to critical heart defects. The paper assesses the category of complexity and the analysis of mortality on the Aristotle
