Abstract
This review article presents current trends in the treatment of patients with critical lower limb ischemia (CLI) with comorbidities. Various definitions of the term CLI are considered, the meaning of the definition of "Chronic Limb-Threatening Ischemia" (CLTI) adopted in 2019 is revealed, and the classifications of chronic arterial insufficiency currently used are mentioned. The article presents various interpretations of
the concept of comorbidities. An overview of the main directions of treatment of patients with CLI is given.
Modern trends in the field of surgical operations are revealed. Special attention is paid to various aspects of hybrid interventions (simple and complex, simultaneous and staged, proximal and distal, complete and incomplete revascularization, perioperative and long-term results). The factor of irradiation of patients during endovascular and hybrid operations is mentioned. The role of the multidisciplinary team in the hybrid treatment of patients with CLI with comorbidities is touched upon.
