Abstract
An endovascular strategy is increasingly being used to treat thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms (TAAAs) using fenestrated and branched stent grafts. In Russia, this treatment method began to be used only in the last few years, and therefore the number of Centers and specialists with such experience is limited. We present the first successful experience of endovascular aortic repair for thoracoabdominal aneurysm type IV according to Crawford in two patients using a standard multibranch t-Branch stent-graft system («Cook Medical», USA). Control intraoperative angiography and subsequent multislice computed tomographic angiography (MSCT angiography) after 6 months demonstrated successful isolation of the aneurysmal sac and patency of all visceral arteries in both cases. We justified the choice in favor of this treatment choice and also made a conclusion about the effectiveness and safety of the implemented treatment strategy.
