Abstract
One of the most topical problems of modern reanimatology remains sepsis. The leading part in
pathogenesis of sepsis plays endotoxin - component of cellular wall of gram-negative bacteria.
Complex intensive therapy for severe sepsis included endotoxin selective hemoperfusion using
polymixin B and Alteco-LPS-adsorber in two cohorts of patients respectively. This study will
allow to govern specialists opinion on expedience of incorporating endotoxin in complex intensive
therapy for severe sepsis.
