Abstract
Introduction. The goal of the study was the advantage of complete arterial myocardial revascularization
in comparison with revascularization with internal thoracic artery (ITA) and venae in
scores for long-term survival and results.
Material and methods. The retrospective analysis according to the state of 178 patients was done.
We compared eight year survival in two groups from 2000 to 2010. The patients were divided into
two groups with two and more shunts: complete arterial revascularization (internal thoracic artery
and radial artery), (n=43) in the first group and ITA + venous shunts, (n=135) in the second group.
Results. Average number of shunts for ITA according to groups was 1.1
