Abstract
Case history is a concise filtered report of patients' treatment episodes in the public health system.
The objectives of case history maintenance may be divided in three groups: full-scale displaying the
patient' treatment, providing financial and legal recording and follow-up of scientific and clinical
investigations. Invaluable advantages of computerized case history (CCH) are powerful functions
of economical contour: service price computation, contract relationships record, drug needs prediction,
record and analysis of financial resources, incoming under the auspices of the National
project «Health». This is most relevant in contemporary circumstances with change-over of the
Federal Budget State Institutions to secondary care in the obligatory medical insurance system
(OMIS). Data formation is made with the registers of OMIS for the treated CHD patients and
invoices for medicare rendered under OMIS to insurance companies, which is fixed and transferred
electronically with respect to standardized documents for personal data security.
Development and updating of OMIS is considered as change-over to universal healthcare facilities
information system which must be multifunctional program complex comprising the data of all
departments including personnel department, accounts department, economical department,
statistics. This would allow us to get clear idea of disadvantageousness and investments of the therapeutic
process, funding, medicare extent.
