Abstract
Experience in treatment of two patients at high surgical risk with critical calcified aortic stenosis by transluminal
balloon valvuloplasty as a first stage to a subsequent surgery to replace the valve. Deaths and there were
no intraoperative complications. After replacement of the aortic valve gradient of systolic blood pressure
decreased in both patients.Transluminal balloon valvuloplasty calcined at critical aortic stenosis in elderly
patients can be used as a preliminary step before further surgical or endovascular aortic valve replacement.
