Abstract
Introduction.
Now, treatment of ischemic heart disease, in particular selection of optimal surgical methods
of myocardial revascularization is the significant problem. The aim of this study - to evaluate postoperative
results of coronary artery bypass grafting in female patients undergoing traditional CABG and the procedure
off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB).
Material and methods.
In this study between January 2009 and May 2013 included 207 patients for the ana
lysis of the results of surgical treatment, depending on the method of revascularization compared patients
(105 patients) who underwent minimally invasive revascularization, and patients (102 patients) who under
went direct revascularization - CABG.
Results.
Hospital mortality in first group was 0% in the second group - 4.9%. Patients who have undergone
surgery under extracorporeal circulation, had a tendency to a higher frequency of respiratory failure, and
renal dysfunction, cerebral edema, infectious complications. They needed a large volume of blood transfu
sions and longer duration of mechanical ventilation and hospitalization.
Conclusion.
Performing CABG on a beating heart coronary artery disease in women is reducing risk of post
operative heart failure, postoperative mortality and the risk of pulmonary, renal, and infectious complications.
