Abstract
Despite significant advances in recent years, especially in the development of endovenous surgery, the treatment of patients with chronic venous insufficiency that developed as a result of phlebothrombosis, that is, with postthrombophlebitic syndrome, remains a problematic section. The review presents the data of domestic and foreign literature devoted to topical aspects of surgical treatment for this disease. The applied surgical methods of treatment, their basic principles, advantages and disadvantages are reflected. The prospects of further improvement and development of reconstructive surgery in post-thrombotic disease are considered.
