Abstract
Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the pulmonary artery is a rare congenital pathology that is diagnosed in both adults and children. In total, just over 200 cases have been registered in the world. The course of the disease, especially in childhood, often has a latent clinical picture, however, even in such patients, there is a risk of developing myocardial ischemia and sudden cardiac death. This article discusses the indications, optimal methods and anatomical features of the surgical treatment of pathology. A case of surgical correction of the defect in condition of artificial blood circulation in an asymptomatic 2-year patient is described.
