Abstract
This review is devoted to the problem of paradoxical low-flow, low-gradient aortic stenosis, its diagnosis, treatment
and prognosis. Currently, this topic is quite new and not fully studied. Questions on diagnosis and treatment at different
stages of the disease and in its different forms cause heated debate among clinicians around the world, which
explains the rather contradictory data from different sources. The increasing frequency of occurrence and high mortality
are proof of the relevance of the study of this issue and require a more thorough approach to its diagnosis and
treatment of these patients. This review contains the most recent data from the world literature on the study of this
problem.
